Mitchell Bosley

Mitchell Bosley, Ph.D., is a Computational Social Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence Research (CENIA) in Santiago, Chile.

Bosley was previously a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society at the University of Toronto. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.

Bosley’s research examines AI as both a tool for studying politics at scale and a force reshaping political behavior and policymaking. His teaching spans research design, political methodology, computational social science, AI and politics, and applied machine learning, with an emphasis on helping students connect core principles of social science research to emerging computational tools.
