Frequently Asked Questions

For questions regarding registration, payments, certificates of completion, recordings, or seminar policies, please see the Statistical Horizon’s FAQ page.

What is AI Horizons?

AI Horizons is the artificial intelligence division of Statistical Horizons, offering seminars on AI, large language models (LLMs), and computational tools for researchers. We offer live online seminars taught by expert instructors.

What AI trainings do you offer?

We offer a wide range of seminars that incorporate popular large language model (LLM) tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Topics include generative AI systems, AI-assisted coding workflows, prompt engineering, and integrating LLMs into research workflows and experiments. Our full seminar schedule can be found here.

Do I need prior AI or programming experience?

Most seminars assume basic familiarity with research workflows or data analysis, but many do not require extensive programming experience. For recommended prerequisites, check the “Who Should Register?” dropdown on the seminar page or contact us.

Are AI Horizons seminars live or on-demand?

AI Horizons seminars are livestream seminars delivered via Zoom with recordings that can be viewed asynchronously. They are not “on-demand” or pre-recorded due to the constantly evolving nature of AI and LLMs.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini account?

Some seminars may recommend a paid account to access advanced features or handle larger tasks. If a paid plan is recommended, it will be noted under “Computing” on the seminar page.

How quickly are AI courses updated as the technology evolves?

Because AI tools evolve rapidly, our instructors update course materials frequently (sometimes the day before the class) to reflect new capabilities and best practices.

Does AI Horizons offer any certifications?

Yes, we offer an AI-Enabled Data Analytics Certification.
